Said Lee, "Yeah, [it was popular] until it got canceled, rapidly all of the sudden. It [ended on a cliffhanger], yeah. It was actually devastating. There's most definitely now not four days that move through with out any person messaging me on Instagram like, 'What happened to Earl?' Or some people considering it is my fault, like, 'Dude, you left us stranded, what the hell?'"

"I'm like, 'I'm now not NBC, I didn't cancel the display, guy!' It was out of my arms. Greg Garcia, the creator of the display, he is nonetheless my good friend. What he did with that show is improbable. He showed up on set someday and said, 'Hey, I've dangerous information, guys. It seems like we're getting canceled.' So, like, 'clean out your lockers' kind of vibe. 'We're out of here,'" Lee persisted.
